Description
The Grade 80 Frogmouth Shackle with Stainless Steel Safety Pin is designed for lifting applications that require a wider mouth opening, offering secure connections to chain slings, synthetic slings, wire rope, and rated fittings. Manufactured from Grade 80 alloy steel in bow configuration, this shackle is hot-dip galvanized for enhanced corrosion resistance and durability. It conforms to AS2741 standards and is proof-tested to twice the workload limit, with a minimum break force of six times the workload limit, ensuring reliable performance in civil, marine, agricultural, mining, and engineering industries. The safety pin mechanism allows pin rotation during loading, preventing accidental dislodgment in vibrating equipment. Each unit is batch-numbered and marked with WLL, quality grade, nominal size, and supplier identification, ensuring full traceability. Test certificates are available upon request.
